I’m really glad you decided to stop by this blog! I have prepared quite a bit of information on a wide variety of topics regarding dog health, much of which has been based on my own personal experiences with my dog Juno.
To say that Juno is an “adventurous” dog would be a massive understatement, and while I love her inquisitive and playful demeanor, it’s those very same same traits that have often landed her in quite a bit of interesting predicaments.
As much as I love her, she’s not the “sharpest tool in the shed”, and her earnest-but-clueless nature has many times resulted in various health issues and unexpected veterinarian bills. Not only that, but being a regular dog, Juno has also had her bouts with typical conditions that plague practically all pups at one time or another, including fleas, ticks and eye infections and ear infections, ear mites, worms. Somehow, in the midst of all of these various mishaps and misadventures, the thought occurred to me to begin sharing what I learned through these experiences.
So Why Did I Prepare This Website?
The main reason why I decided to create this website is to share all of the research that I have accumulated over several years regarding the various health issues that dogs can go through (my own dog included).
I have pored over websites, blogs and videos of all kinds, and I have also had several discussions with several different veterinarians in order to put together a good picture of not only how to accurately identify these various conditions, but also how to properly treat them, whether that be with medicines or good old-fashioned home remedies. I wanted to make this information available to other dog owners out there who are looking for a one-stop shop where they can get their questions answered with minimal hassle.
I know that when I first had to figure out how to deal with some of the bothersome, cumbersome and sometimes crazy health issues that Juno was dealing with, I wish I would have had a website like this available to help me trim down the learning curve and obtain some solid solutions to help Juno get over whatever might have been ailing her at the time. It is my hope that other dog owners out there will be able to find what they need through this site, so that they won’t have to feel overwhelmed by all of the information out there that may or may not even apply to their particular situation.
How Did I Search For Information And Prepare Articles?
As I mentioned earlier, I had to really kick my research into high gear to get the information I needed to help my pup through her various maladies. Add to that the fact that I love learning new things anyway, and you have a good reason to dig deep into whatever subject might catch my interest at the time. I scoured through my best friend Google for information, and from there I would start venturing down a convoluted trail of websites, YouTube videos, blogs and other online outposts in order to find as much information as I could about each particular dog health condition I was searching for.
I would compare notes across various sites to ensure accuracy, and as I also mentioned earlier, I would ask as many questions as I could any time I had to take Juno to the vet. All of this information began to “mash up” together to make what you see now!
What’s My Website About?
If you want to sum it up in two words, it would be “dog health”. As I have embarked upon this research journey, I have become more and more serious about finding out everything it takes to ensure the good health of my dog. In doing so, I have taken great lengths to identify many of the enemies to my dog’s health – and not just to my dog, but to dogs everywhere!
Here are some of the dog health conditions I have covered in my research:
- Ear infections
- Eye infections
- Ear mites
With so many potential ailments that dogs can deal with, it’s definitely worth your while to get as much information and knowledge as possible to ensure that you can properly take care of your pup whenever he/she might be going through an adverse health condition. My hope is that this website will help you do just that, so that you can keep your dog as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
